Mother's Day Box!

Hey Everyone!

This year I wanted to put out a themed Mother's Day box. The decided theme was Ponyo and their moms in the movie. Ghibli has always been a big part of my life dating back to the first time my sisters and I watched a Ghibli movie when we were kids. And yes, it was Spirited Away.

When putting together this years box we thought it would be a good idea to use a sage tin for Sosuke and his mother Lisa, then pair a complementing peach tin for Ponyo and her mother. Next was the box and white is always a sleek look in my opinion, so we decided on a white gift box look. Then, to tie it all together a cream crinkle paper was added inside for decor.

Honestly, I think this look really works for the movie and current season! It gives off a very Springy/fresh look. 

Moving onto the fragrances! This was probably the best part. I really enjoy pairing characters to fragrances. When I am stuck on a scent or need help with the final choice, I reach out to my Stream or Discord for more opinions. So, shout out to them for their help too! I really wanted the fragrances to match the movie as well as the pair's vibes. To do that, I gave Ponyo and her mother more tropical and beachy fragrances, while making Sosuke and his mom's calmer.
