A perfect night-in for me includes cuddling up with my best-pup Scamp with a pile of snacks for a reading night in 💖 Whether I’m crying over a fanfic or speed-tapping through a chaotic Webtoon at 2am, you can bet there’s a candle burning nearby to set the vibe 🕯️

This month, I wanted to share some of the stories I’ve been completely obsessed with! From manga to webtoons to fanfics with MinnyWicks scents I think match each mood. Let’s scroll 📖✨

📚 Manga I’m Obsessed With Right Now

Lately my manga brain has been bouncing between chaos, feelings, and friendship goals:

  • Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest – The nostalgia, action, NaLu moments? I'm FEEDING.
    🔥 Candle Match: Fire Blitz – fiery, sweet, and absolutely ride-or-die.
  • Chainsaw Man – Absolutely unhinged, darkly funny, and somehow still makes me cry??
    🖤 Candle Match: Denji (Of Course!) – moody, sharp, and chaotic good.
  • DanDaDan – Sci-fi, ghost weirdness, hilarious characters and nail-biting angst. I don’t even know what’s happening during the first watch, but I live for it.
    ✨ Candle Match: Electric Diva – fizzy, energetic, and totally unpredictable.

 

📱 Webtoons I Keep Bingeing at Midnight

The Webtoon addiction is real… especially when I should be sleeping before my 5AM workdays 😴

  • Solo Leveling – MC energy, epic art, and sooo many boss fights.
    🗡️ Candle Match: Surgeon of Death – legendary skills with an unwavering heart.
  • The Tyrant Wants to Be Good – Royalty, regrets, and some very cute moments.
    👑 Candle Match: Jupiter – regal, soft, and full of grace.
  • Villains Are Destined to Die & Kill the Villainess – I am here for morally gray girlies, twisted timelines, and drama✨.
    🖤 Candle Match: Dark Eclipse – shadowy, elegant, and full of secrets.

 

✍️ Fan Fics That Live in My Head Rent-Free

AO3 is my happy place. I’m always on the lookout for:

  • KiriBaku fics that have feelings and explosions 💥
  • NaLu stories with slow burn, team shenanigans, and fluff
  • Ereri angst-fests where I can sob and thank the author later

🕯️ My Reading Rituals

Most nights you’ll find me curled up with Scamp, wrapped like a burrito in our fave tortilla blanket, with snacks (or a sweet drink) in reach 🧋

I love burning lighter, cozy candles while I read — lately it's been:

  • Jupiter – fresh, floral, and a little dreamy

  • Armin – soft, ocean calm with major comfort vibes
